Mayor Ken Palmer is pictured with Karen Copeland at the March Madness Basketball Game to benefit the Rodney Copeland Scholarship Fund on March 13. Rodney Copeland was a long-time resident of Manchester and Coach at Manchester Township High School. He coached Ken and many other Manchester students. Rodney passed away at the age of 44.
PBA #246 celebrated its first win in the Sixth Annual Rodney Copeland Benefit Basketball Game against MTHS faculty on March 13. Rodney served as a football, basketball and baseball coach for the Hawks until his passing in 2009. The benefit event was sponsored by the Manchester Township Booster Club.
