Whiting Elementary School celebrated its 60th Anniversary on April 2nd. The event was attended by former and current staff as well as students and guests. Mayor Palmer was on hand to present a proclamation declaring April 2, 2015 as Whiting Elementary School Day in Manchester. Principal Evelyn Swift, Fourth-Grade Teacher Tracy Kiernan and Custodian Janet VanBuskirk were instrumental in putting together the anniversary bash.
