The Township Council was honored to meet the winner of the Ms. New Jersey Senior America Pageant, Manchester Township’s own Carolyn Harden, who was presented with a Proclamation on August 28, 2017.

Ms. Harden was among the eight contestants who participated in the pageant, which was founded in 1971 in search of “a gracious lady who best exemplifies the dignity, maturity and inner beauty of all senior Americans.”

She will begin a year-long journey promoting the positive aspects of aging, and will be the featured performer in all NJ Cameo Club Showcase events which provide entertainment for 55-plus communities, clubs, veterans hospitals, and assisted living and nursing homes.

We wish Ms. Harden best of luck as she competes in October for the National Title in the Ms. Senior America Pageant!
