Thanks to a $10,000 grant from the OceanFirst Foundation, the Manchester Township Middle School has created a “STEM” classroom (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) to facilitate an engineering environment where students build robots and experiment in new technologies. The lab is equipped with Chromebooks, lab tables, desks, projector, portable pool, and SeaPerch ROV kits so students can work safely and efficiently in a space that simulates an engineering workshop.
