The Township Council was honored to welcome representatives from the Manchester Police, including Chief Lisa Parker, to yesterday’s meeting for the presentation of a Police Appreciation Month Proclamation.

The Proclamation states that our Police Department “is one of the finest and well-trained” in the State, with officers who “go above and beyond the call of duty in serving the residents of our township.”
“The residents of Manchester Township, along with the Mayor and Township Council, want to express support for the Manchester Township Police Department and the Law Enforcement community,” the Proclamation reads.
“You can’t argue that our police force is among the best, if not the best,” said Council President Sam Fusaro as he presented to Proclamation to Chief Parker. “From the command staff to the most recent recruit, all of our officers go beyond the call of duty. We are truly happy to have you in our police force.”
Chief Parker was very appreciative of the gesture, and thanked Mayor Kenneth Palmer, the Township Council, and Township Administration for their continued support of the Police Department.
“I know from talking with other Chiefs that those relationships aren’t always there. I feel very fortunate that we can all work together to get things done for the community,” said Chief Parker. “It’s a great working relationship and I feel lucky to be a part of it.”
